What book is it?

Here are the rules:
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fourth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 5 sentences (#4, 5, 6, 7 & 8) on your blog, along with these instructions.
5. Don't you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it. Just grab what is closest. No cheating.

And there were no sheep grazing, and no cattle.
Joseph said for us to walk faster, and we did our best to hurry, but it wasnt easy with my aunt Mary, who was sick, as thugh the woes had passed from Cleopas to her. We pulled at the donkeys, and took turns carrying Little Symeon, whos fussed and cried for his mother, no matter what we did.
Finally we were climbing the slope to Nazareth! I begged to run ahead, and so did James in the same voice, but Joseph said no.

A Circle Is A Shape

Okay Its no secret i have curves, I actually dont mind the curves, I like em, i think men like 'em, (not that I care) however I am not one of these people that hates my body, although I probably should, it hasnt been the best representation of what is on the inside. Either way I want to change some things this year. I just want to look better and feel better, and i want to have a baby.I have this latino husband who is good-looking and 8 years my junior who not only would make a good daddy, but would also make me a pretty baby.I really need to have one for us.(Those of you who know me, know what this has to do with my weight loss.) I really want to feel better, like i feel fine now, but i want to feel better about the way i look, and the way others see me. So i am going to try to turn the curves.. around the other way..The ones going out need to be going in.So I joined Curves. So far its great! I have worked out twice. My goal is to work out every weekday. I want to have lost about 15lbs by Feb 14. Thats my 3 year wedding anniversary.Somebody said to me"Men like women with shape" my reply "A circle is a shape." hehe. I am working on a bit more of an hourglass, if thats possible. Wish me luck.

For the Love of GOD

I have a couple of freinds that I love dearly, this is not directed at you. Although i will admit you and a few others have contributed to pravoking me to vent here. You know who you are... lol.. we have agreed to disagree on this subject,so I hope nobody gets upset. I wish if any of you read this you will give some thought to a different point of view without getting offended or taking things personally...Then again, you know what they say, "if the shoe fits....."

I cant for the life of me figure out why people who seem to have completely turned their backs on God and religion except for when the situation arrises where they need divine intervention, are constantly telling others how to practice their own faith. If you are raised in a certain faith and you havent practiced it lately and have decided not to follow it anymore, or you have totally changed religions,(such as a christian turned muslim or muslim turned jewish and so on) please be considerate of those who are at least trying to practice their choice of religion..I mean if you have lost your faith, dont be angry if others havent. If you dont have enough faith to do anything but bitch about how people around you practice their own faiths, who's fault is that? Gods?? He gives each of us the same opportunity to experience his grace. It is how we embrace it that changes our lives. And so what if we ask forgiveness and go out and sin again, it is known that we will do that. If you think you are or have ever been without sin you are mistaken. Who is to say that it is wrong to practice a religion even though you are a sinner. Everyone is a sinner. There again if you have faith you will know that you are forgiven. Thats not to say go crazy sin away.. it is just that it seems better to me to add some religous practice to your sinful life, than to just live a sinful life without any religion or faith in god and his mercy. And if you are angry at God or at life in general, please try not to make those sinners who repent on Sundays (or Saturday Afternoon) feel as if they are doing something wrong. No one will ever be perfect. It isnt about being perfect or living a perfect life, Its about making an attempt at it.The way i see if if you are angry and you refuse God in your life you have no right to say how a somebody else should choose to work faith into their lives. And also I am aware that you dont have to go to church to worship, but what is wrong with it?..and just because you dont go to a church doesnt mean you dont worship, some people say they dont need to go to church to worship, they say they are believers, but they are also sinners wheather or not they admit it, so why is it that the same sinner who never attends a church is always the first to say you cant go to church and ask forgiveness and then go out and sin again.. so does that mean if you ask forgiveness on the back yard patio you can go out and sin again?? or you can judge others for their religous practices simply because they are different than yours? If someone elses beliefs are different than yours, how can you be sure that you understand their religion enough to tell them how they should be practicing it?
I do realize that i am a easy target for this kind of judgement, because i am new to religous practice, and i am no angel, far from it, even though I do attend church every week. Its hard for some people to accept that I am on a spritual journey and I just because I have not reached my destination doesnt mean I intend to end my travel.
I guess what i want to say a bit more briefly is, if you have lost your faith, either try to find it, or dont, but please stop bringing down the ones of us who have recently found some. Sometimes it is the only thing thats gets me through the day. Shouldnt you be happy that a person you care for has found some religous guideance?
Okay got that out of my system... I feel better now.. Love yall.

Quiting Smoking

Okay I have decided once and for all I am going to quit smoking. I know alot of people say that this time of year as a new years resolution, and I have also in the past years made the same resolution and given up on it after a few weeks. But this time I decided to quit a few months ago, I just made the new year a good time to start...quiting that is.
I am going to attend a stop smoking study done by the University of Tennessee, it is supposed to start sometime after Jan 3rd, as they are out of the office until then. As soon as I reach them I will know my exact stop day. For now I am cutting back and actually every cigarette i light make me realize how much i hate the fact that i love to smoke them and how much control they have in my life.
Aside from the risks of cancer, heart and lung disease I have come up with a few more good reasons to quit smoking. (In no particular order.)
1. Smoking makes your teeth yellow.
2. Smoking makes your hair stink.
3. Smoking decreases your fertility therefore lowering your chances of conceiving.
4. Cigarettes cost from $3 to $8 depending on what state you are in.
5. Most resturants and even bars are not smoker friendly.
6. Most people are not smoker friendly.
7. Smoking makes you have bad breath.
8. Smoking always bothers little kids and animals. (I love little kids and animals.)
9. My dad smokes 3 packs a day, and i find it disgusting.
10. My mom has never smoked and she looks 15 years younger than her age.
11. My grandmother quit cold turkey after 35 years of Marlboro 100's.
12. Smoking makes your skin age.
13. Smoking gives you wrinkles.
14.My uncle has been in the hospital 4 times in the last year due to smoking related problems.
15. Dirty ashtrays are disqusting.
16. I can never find my lighter.
